Karissa Poon (b. Hong Kong) is a fashion product designer currently based in New York. Her interest in design has evolved over the years, beginning with an early interest in fine arts and expanding into the intersections of object-making, art direction, photography, and graphic design. Rooted in research and reflections on temporality, culture, and space, her practice explores how objects and materials can hold, translate, and preserve personal and collective experiences. She completed her BFA in Fashion Design, with a focus in Product, at Parsons School of Design.
